Class 4

In class 4 children always try their best and experience - and enjoy - a wide range of approaches to develop their understanding of their learning.

(Writing on the tables – washable pens - is highly motivating!)

Visual aids form an integral part of learning and support the understanding of tricky mathematical concepts. This forms part of our ‘concrete, visual, abstract’ approach to mathematics.

Grammar is fun! Sentence sorting and complicated punctuation are learned through physical movement, enabling the children to absorb and consolidate learning using a variety of methods.

(Ask your child to demonstrate their punctuation moves)
